Wag Hill Lodge has a warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere. The four unique bungalows of Fish Eagle View, Hammerkop, Malachite and Little Egret are all positioned to provide magnificent views over Lake Victoria.
Each bungalow is unique and has a private balcony which provide stunning views over the Lake. The bedroom features solid timber bed with a mosquito net and the walls are windows opening up to the African forest outside.
Natural light provides soothing tones and a restful stay and the décor combines slate floors and solid wood furnishings. Each bungalow is complete with ensuite facilities.
The use of natural materials and solar energy embraces the environmentally friendly aspect.
Bill Geach, owner and operator, has shown amazing vision and creativity with the construction and placement of stunning and unique buildings at Wag Hill Lodge.
As dusk falls, gather at the back jetty with a sundowner and the bonfire roaring, overlooking the Lake and experience the natural wonders as the African night lights up.
Wag Hill is environmentally friendly Lodge and as such, we utilize solar lighting, kerosene fridges, gas & bbq for our cooking. Our staff are all local residents.
